Applications of Flanged Ball Valve

Flanged ball valve is wildly used in fluid control industry. It is also known as full bore ball valves. Flanged ball valve can control and adjust the speed and direction of fluid. Thus, ball valves play a very important role in many industry.

1.Working principle of ball valves

A flanged ball valve include body, ball, seats, packing, stem, flanges, etc. When operate the handle or actuators, the stem will rotate, and the ball will also rotate under the driven of the stem. When the ball turn 90 degrees, the valve will be fully opened or fully closed, then the fluid will pass through or be blocked. Ball valve with a simple structure, which is user-friendly, besides, it has good sealing and long service life.

In water treatment industry, flanged ball valves are mainly used for treatment of aqueous solutions containing solid particles such as sand, mud, stone, fiber and other particulate matter. 4.Flanged ball valves are suitable for electricity industry

In electricity industry, although flanged ball valves have a small application range, the ball valves are also used in the waste heat generation pipeline of thermal power plant. This pipeline usually requires high temperature and high pressure working environment.

5.Flanged ball valves are also suitable for other applictaions

Except above four industries, flanged ball valves are also wildly used in air compressor, iron and steel smelting, cement production and other industries.
