What is carbon steel segmented ball valve？
For JOXN segmented ball valve, the valve body is made of carbon steel material. The ball of the segment ball valve has a V-notch and the is only 1/4 the size of an O-port ball valve. With the rotation of the ball, the opening area changes, but the shape of the opening surface always remains a triangle. The flow characteristic is approximately constant and has a large adjustable ratio. The features of the V-notch ball valve are similar to those of the O-port ball valve, but due to the shear action between the V-notch and seat, it is uses for cutting off media such as fibrous or slurry fluids.
