What is a trunnion mounted top entry flanged ball valve?
The JXON trunnion mounted top entry flanged ball valve has a ball and seat are assembled from the top of the ball valve. The ball is held by the stem and trunnion. Under the medium pressure, the trunnion structure of the top entry ball valve will reduce rotation torque and prevent displacement of the ball. The biggest advantage of trunnion mounted top enrty ball valve is that it can be maintained online without removing the ball valve from the pipeline. Our trunnion mounted top entry ball valves are widely used for various applications.
Trunnion mounted top entry flanged ball valve features?
1.The ball of top entry ball valve is held by the trunnion. When the ball valve is closed, the ball will not have any displacement. Therefore, for a ball valve with the same diameter, trunnion type top entry ball valves require less torque.
2.Trunnion mounted top enrty ball valves can used in high pressure applications. Because unlike floating ball valves, trunnion mounted ball valves distribute medium pressure to the trunnion and stem instead of focusing it solely on the stem. This prevent stem breakage or ball deformation.
3.When the ball valve needs maintainance, only the cap needs to be removed for repair instead of removing the entire top enrty ball valve from the pipeline, which can greatly reduce maintenance time.
4.There is a fire safe design on the valve seat, which ensures that in case of a fire, the seat and the ball are tightly sealed together to prevent the spread of flames.
