Hard Sealed Flanged Ball Valve
What is a hard sealed ball valve?
A hard seal ball valve, also known as a metal seated ball valve and a metal to metal seated ball valve. The ball and seat in the ball valves are made of all metal materials, which are coated with Tungsten Carbide, Stellite, Ultratek or other hard coatings. This enables the ball valve to handle granular media such as slurry and power applications. Compared to the soft seat, a metal seat ball valve is more resistant to high temperature and high pressure.
Features of a hard sealed ball valve
1.Our ball and seat are coated with hard coatings using supersonic spray technology, which insreases their wear resistance.
2.The JOXN valve seat has a special design in which the length of the seat has been extended to prevent the spring from being trapped by solidified particles. This design can prolong the service life of the valve seat .
3.Another special design is the scraper shaped valve seat, which is shaped like a blade. When the granular medium stick to the ball, it can scrap the medium off the ball, preventing particulate matter from entering into the valve seat. Without a scraper design, the valve seat can easily damaged and cause seal failure.
