What is a forged steel metal seated ball valve?
A forged steel ball valve, which is made from a single piece of heated steel. And the heating steel will be deformed by the force from a forging furnace or press machine, and then the valve body will be ready. Forged steel ball valves can resist fatigue and stress corrosion cracking due to their one-piece valve body. The metal seated structure allows them to be uesd in high pressure and high temperature applications without the risk of ball fracture.
Features of metal seated trunnion flanged ball valves
1.Jxon forged steel ball valves is our superior products, and their valve bodies are made by closed-die forging. One of the advantages of closed-die forging is that there is minimal surplus raw material, and the forged material closely resemble the finished valve body. Therefore, only a few additional processing steps are necessary to obtain the desired final product.
2.Because closed-die forging results in less raw material waste, our forged steel ball valve requires significantly less follow-up processing time compared to an open-die forging valve body. Additionally, this method saves a lot on raw material costs.
3.The output of our forged steel ball valve is 5-30 times faster than that of forged steel ball valves made by open-die forging, greatly reducing our delivery time.
3.The strength of the closed-die forging valve body is higher than that of a cast steel ball valve in the same size, allowing it to be used for high pressure applications.
4.Our metal seated ball valves are designed with a special metal seat that prevents the medium from entering the spring, thereby extending the valve's service life.
