2PC Forged Steel Flanged Ball Valve
What are 2PC forged steel flanged ball valves?
Jxon 2PC forged steel flanged ball valves, just as the name suggests,the valve body is 2PC type, which can be called left valve body and right valve body. For Jxon 2PC forged ball valve, the valve body is usually made using closed-die forging technology. This process results in a single-formed valve body with a simple structure. This valve body forms faster than open-die forging, and its strength is higher than that of a cast valve body.
The 2PC structure is easy to assemble and disassemble, and it can be either a floating type or a trunnion type. Jxon 2PC forged steel ball valves are one of our flagship products.
2PC forged steel flanged ball valve features：
1. The forged ball valve body has a higher density than cast ball valve body, resulting in better performance for the valve body of forged ball valves.
2. The anti-static device can prevent the accumulation of electrostatic charges and reduce the risk of fire.
3. Fire safe design: For a 2PC forged steel ball valve with a soft seal, if a fire occurs in the valve cavity, the soft seat may be damaged, causing the ball to tightly connect to the seat groove. There is a well-calculated slope on the seat groove, which increases the contact area between the ball and the seat groove, thus blocking the fire.
4. Jxon forged steel ball valves are designed with a blow-out feature, which includes a T-boss on the stem. The stem shoud be assembled from inside the valve cavity. The prevents the stem from blowing out and causing accidents when the pressure in the valve cavity is very high.
