Metal Seated Floating Ball Valve
JXON is a professional ball valve manufacturer, speciallizing in metal Seated ball valves. These can be further divided into metal seated floating ball valves and metal seated trunnion ball valves.
Metal seated structure, also known as a metal to metal sealed structure, is composed entirely of metal materials for the seal components, including the ball and two seats.
Except for the difference in seat material from the soft seal, there are springs or disc springs on the seat to prevent the ball from getting stuck against the metal seat. Furthermore, we need to apply a hard coating on both the ball and seats in order to reduce wear.
For metal seated floating ball valves, the ball is only held in place by the stem. Therefore, when media passes through, the ball may experience slight displacement and connect tightly to the outlet valve seat.
